I would travel to the beginning of the universe to record everything that happened. Hopefully the time machine is big enough to fit my futuristic and indestructible spaceship so that I don't die in the dark emptiness of what the universe was theorized to be before everything was created. I would bring a blank textbook and record everything I saw. This would all be a great thing only if I could make it back into the future. If my time machine allowed me to return to the future, I would probably be awarded with a Nobel Prize for discovering the beginnings of the universe.
I would want to travel back to the very beginning before time itself and witness the Big Bang. You then could take high quality footage and it would make me world famous. It would be particularly intriguing because you would be witness the beginning of all things.
If you wanted to get fancy you could come back with the footage and then claim you are god. Nobody could argue with you either because you have hardcore footage of the Big Bang. You would need to get high quality footage because then people wouldn't claim it's a hoax.
Something else I would want to do is would be to travel back to witness when the 49ers were amazing and won four Super Bowls. It would make me happy to see my favorite football team actually do well.
Witness: If I could travel back in time, I would go to the time of the dinosaurs with a camera and take pictures of all of them so when I go back to my normal time I could show scientists what they really looked like. Or I would go back in time to witness the Renaissance so I when I came back to the present, I could tell us modern folks what really happened. Or I would go to the time to when Native Americans had just got horses from the Europeans and ride one with them.
I would go to the time when the first humans existed and kill all of them. I would not only kill them but also any other creature that could somehow turn into a human. BUt also at the same time i couldn't because they are what have become my parents so techinically it's a paradox because i cant kill my ancestor before they have become me or my parents. I would do this (lets say that the theory i am going off of allows this) just because i want to. Actually mostly because i just hate trump. Sad!
I would go back and force my grand father to invest heavily into Microsoft. It would be very profitable for me now if they were responsible. In any ways a time machine could be used for profit, and in the end it would not hurt anyone. I would also like to see just exactly what would happen if I were to create a paradox. Something simple, not murdering my ancestors or anything. It would be great to answer that question and hopefully it would not create any big issues. I've been curious about what truly would occur, whether it would simply not happen or if something like a timeline split would happen. Simply going back and witnessing things could be great too, with some high quality photography to view and brag about (and likely be called crazy). Taking pictures of dinosaurs would be amazing, seeing what they truly looked like and how accurate our current depictions are. I would also like to maybe go and see the moon landing too. It would be cool to go to space and that's such a historic event it would also be impressive to witness
I would travel back in time to see the atomic bomb being dropped just to see it (from far away). Also, I would create internet memes, give (21 year-old) Lionel a smartphone, and tell my dad to buy some stock from Microsoft then come back.
If I were to travel back in time I would not change anything I observe certain things for proof and just to simply observe. One thing I would is observe the major empires Such as Rome and Egypt and definitely Greece to see all the lost information from their empires. Destruction of information in the Greek empires led to hundreds of years of setback in knowledge and information, the knowledge would already be known today but it would be reassuring to know it was there. If I were to change anything though that is what I would change. I do not believe in changing the past because you could do one small thing and cease to exist.
I think that if I were to travel back in time, I wouldn't change anything. While there may be some things that I'd like to change or alter, I don't think it's worth risking setting off a butterfly effect and radically changing my present. I can't think of any events from my past that negatively changed my life so greatly that it would be worth that type of immense risk. Instead, I'd go to witness something of great significance. I don't think I'd use this opportunity to witness/confirm anything monumental unless I was directly asked by a higher up power (government, etc), or if I could think of something good enough to change for the greater good. This is short because we're watching a movie now, and I couldn't think of what I'd change. Maybe I'd go back to see an artist who I really like in the middle of creating art.
I would go back to 2008 and tell my dad to invest a lot in bitcoin so, he would be a billionaire in 2017 and then, we would be super rich and we could have a great life. We would have a very good life. I chose bitcoin because, of how little it was worth in 2008 and how much it is worth now. 1 Bitcoin is worth $2500 today and 1 bitcoin in 2008, 1 bitcoin was worth 1/5000 of a cent. We would donate some to charity, buy a good house, buy a good house and car, I would also, have some great electronics and life would be good.
If I were to witness an event that took place, I would go back to the early stages of earth. It would be interesting to see how the land was formed and what creatures were roaming the earth during this time. I assume that there were not many creatures existing during the time when the continents were being formed, although, it would be interesting to get an eagle eye view of this event. If I were to witness another event in history, I would like to see one of Shakespeare's plays. I have read many of his plays, although, A Midsummer Night's Dream would be the most interesting play to see because of the many characters included in the performance. I would like to have good seats for the performance rather than viewing the performance on the ground floor. Viewing these moments in history would be really interesting because I would really like to learn more about these moments in history.
