1) If you could contact 1 person in the past and have a conversation with them who would it be and why? Ignore language difference and tech differences for this question.
2) If you could contact 1 person from your past who would it be and why? Think of this like the movie you have a way to speak with someone you have known.
I would contact John Rockefeller and tell him to get into the oil business. He would most likely want to thank me somehow and I would say burying a large sum of cash somewhere in the desert would be acceptable. Of course the location is shared with me but I would ask for it to remain a secret for anything else. After talking to him I would travel to the desert and dig up my fortune.
ReplyDeleteFrom my past, I would contact myself. I would do this because I could give myself all sorts of future wisdom. I could correct all of my mistakes and open a ton of new opportunities. When I gain the trust of my past self, I would play tons of jokes on myself. This would be unnecessary but it would be funny.
If I could talk to one person from the past I wouldn't because I would not want to change the past. If I were to talk with someone and it would not change the past at all I would talk to someone like Nicola Tesla Because he is not a very well recorded person and I would like to hear his ideas.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to talk to someone in my lifetime I would talk to myself because I have done many things I regret and I would be able to stop myself from injury.
If I were to talk to anyone In time I would want to talk to hamarabe because I could tell him that his laws are not reasonable and that the punishments are also obscene. I would then provide him with a more fair and modern set of laws. I might have to argue but I would simply tell him that his empire will fail altogether and it doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteIf I were to contact someone from my past I would contact my brother from the past. I would help along through school and help him make sure he does his work so he feels as if he can get through high school.
Part 1). I would contact teenager Lionel just so I could tell Lionel about the future and his future. But I would tell him to try to pretend that he never heard me so it won't alter the timeline.
ReplyDeletePart 2). If I could contact my Grandma and ask her how it is like to live in that time then I would tell her about smartphones, electricity, and I would tell her "when you know what the company called Microsoft is, I advise you to buy some stock because it's value will skyrocket."
If i could contact one person in the past, I would talk to JK. Rowling before she wrote Harry Potter and tell her different bits of information to change some things about the books. For example, I would tell her that just because a horrible person did one good thing out of obligation does not mean that they are a good person (like Snape) and that no one should name their kid after that person.
ReplyDeleteIf I could contact one person in my past, I would talk to my Great Grandfather. I would just tell him about what's going on in my life and try to fill him in on anything he missed. He loved football, so I would tell him that the seahawks won the superbowl in 2013. Alternatively, I'd like to contact my St. Bernard from a few years ago. I can't talk to him, cause he's a dog, but I'd still be nice.
B.T.W. This is Blaire borrowing Soloman's computer...
ReplyDeleteMy answer:
1.) If I could, I would contact a book character (Percy Jackson) because He's so freakin' awesome! Okay... Seriously though, I would talk to my dog (who died) because I miss her.
2.) If I could, I would contact my past self and tell me not to make some stupid horrible desicion.
1) I would probably tell my grandfather to invest in Microsoft or some other profitable venture. Again, if they were responsible I would have plenty of money today. I could probably do something more productive to society, but truthfully money is the easiest and best thing to get selfishly through time travel. If anything I could give back through charity and be a bit less selfish.
ReplyDelete2) I would tell myself to be a bit more proactive on the ERP. It was a lot of work and afterwards I have better ideas on how to prioritize for that project. Either that or I would try to prevent a terrible meme. Stop Harambe from ever starting that. Tell John Cena to take a breath. Warn of the bottle flip.
I would contact a human from 20,000 years ago and ask what life was like back then. I would learn a lot about the primitive lifestyle, hobbies, entertainment and much much more. I also could write what he/she said in a book and hopefully get a lot of money from the book.
ReplyDeleteIf I could contact one person from my past, it would be me from 5 years ago. I would talk about how to not spend all my money on legos I would never used and projects that were never finished. I would do this so, I would have more money that I could use for something bigger and better later.
I would talk to H.G. Wells. The first reason why i would talk to H.G. Wells is because that was the first name I saw. The second reason is that i would like to tell him everything that i knew about our history so his book could be more accurate. Or i would make the term 'time travel' more interesting, especially because he was pretty much the creator of the concept. Also when talking to him I could find out who we are in the book, and finally make him change Philby's name to something that isn't so terrible.
ReplyDeleteI would talk to my self from at least 3 years ago. I would do this because i am an un-original cliche and could not think of anything else-- that wasn't so personal. I would just talk about things, warn about bad things and how to avoid-- cliche-- and just really see how that in those few years i have changed so much, truly.
If I could contact someone from the past, I would talk to Leonardo Da Vinci and ask about his inventions then and ask him about his art. I would mainly like to talk to him about why he chose to paint Mona Lisa and why she is smiling in the painting. I would ask him about how he designed the human powered flying contraption and what inspired him to create the design.
ReplyDeleteIf I could contact someone in my past, I would talk to my Grandfather. He used to produce opera shows that were not the typical type of opera show back then. I would ask him what inspired him to have animals in his shows and what his favorite place was to visit during the tours. My Grandmother was also a dancer in his earlier shows, although, if I could, I would ask her why she became a dancer and how long she preformed in his shows.
